Role and Responsibilities:
As an Inventory Specialist, you will assist with core warehouse and fulfillment activities, including receiving inventory, organizing products, selecting customer items, packing orders, and preparing shipments. You will contribute to a productive warehouse environment where accuracy, safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for delivering quality service to customers.
• Accept and process incoming shipments by unloading products, checking items, and confirming inventory information.
• Arrange and maintain products in designated storage areas to support organized warehouse operations.
• Identify and collect customer items from warehouse locations while using scanning equipment to verify order accuracy.
• Package customer orders securely by preparing labels and ensuring shipments are ready for processing.
• Transfer prepared packages to conveyor systems or shipping containers for delivery handling.
• Monitor inventory information, update records, and support efforts to correct inventory inconsistencies.
• Apply warehouse safety standards, follow operational procedures, and use required safety equipment correctly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity objectives while maintaining accurate and high-quality fulfillment results.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to lift and transport packages weighing up to 75 pounds safely.
• Strong dedication to maintaining quality, accuracy, and customer service standards.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment with changing operational demands.
• Ability to follow workplace safety guidelines, procedures, and operational instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous background in warehouse operations, fulfillment services, logistics, or inventory management is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse scanning devices or inventory tracking systems is an advantage.
