The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the overall receiving, storage, and distribution of freight procedures within the organization. The Inventory Specialist has frequent contact with the entire organization’s staff members/vendors and must have exceptional customer service skills and always put the customer first. This position is the main contact for the organizations supply and receiving needs. Individual is responsible for ensuring that all items are received into the organization MMIS system and stocked in a safe and efficient manner. Duties include but are not limited to: Maintain PAR levels within stockroom locations throughout the Enterprise including Fergus Falls and Elbow Lake. Delivers supplies and patient equipment on an Ad-Hoc base. Communicates changes to department lead and other departments as needed. Keeps a clean and organized environment within all stockrooms. Assists in receiving and inspects items through quality checks. Thoroughly inspects stockroom for recalls, outdates, quality checks, and proper PAR levels. Assists with maintaining proper system maintenance on inventory levels. Makes it a priority to ensure departments are receiving proper supplies when needed while providing superior customer service. Assists with maintaining patient chargeable items with the stockroom supply. Other duties as assigned. Hours/Shifts Casual (less than 32 hours biweekly) with requirement to support supply operations across all Enterprise locations including Fergus Falls and Elbow Lake. Compensation Hourly Wage Range: $20.03 - $25.64. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations. Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Two years of experience in hospital products or distribution operations desirable. Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required. Must be able to work according to the schedule.
