Role Description The Inventory Specialist is an on-site role based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for accurately documenting, labeling, and tracking contents during packout, storage, and pack back phases, using both digital tools and physical inventory methods. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed inventories of residential and commercial items, updating inventory records, organizing contents in storage, and ensuring items are ready for cleaning, restoration, or return. The Inventory Specialist works closely with field crews, restoration partners, and office staff to coordinate item movement, verify counts, and resolve discrepancies. The role also involves communicating with customers and partners in a professional, empathetic manner, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and supporting overall workflow efficiency during property loss recovery projects. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Physical Inventory and Inventory Management to accurately document, label, and track items throughout the contents restoration process. Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control to maintain organized storage, verify counts, and monitor item movement between locations. Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with teammates, restoration partners, and customers during stressful loss events. Ability to perform work that may involve lifting, carrying, and moving contents of varying sizes and weights, following safety guidelines. Comfort using basic computer systems, tablets, or inventory software for data entry and record keeping. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills in fast-paced environments. Previous experience in inventory, warehousing, restoration, or related fields is beneficial. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, in line with job-related travel and site visits.
