Role Description The Inventory Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for monitoring stock levels, performing regular physical inventory counts, and reconciling discrepancies in inventory records. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and organizing products, updating inventory systems, labeling and tracking items, and assisting with inventory-related documentation. The Inventory Specialist will collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure products are available, properly stored, and accurately recorded. This role may also support customer-facing activities by locating items, answering inventory-related questions, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Physical Inventory, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management. Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills. Attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to accurately handle data entry in inventory systems. Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing nursery products as required. Experience in warehousing, retail, or nursery/landscaping environments is beneficial. Comfort working in outdoor and greenhouse settings under varying weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or supply chain is a plus. Reliable work habits, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
