Inventory Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain accurate inventory levels through daily monitoring and adjustments. Perform scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventories. Identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shrink, mis-picks, and receiving errors. Monitor out-of-stock and low-stock merchandise. Work with store leadership to develop replenishment strategies and keep high-demand and seasonal products in stock. Maintain overstock and top-stock areas. Ensure accurate product labeling, signage, and bin locations. Assist with seasonal inventory transitions, including lawn and garden, heating, and holiday merchandise. Help monitor and reduce inventory shrink through proper procedures and awareness. Utilize POS, and inventory management systems to track merchandise. Assist with store readiness inspections and ensure shelves are properly stocked and customer-ready. QUALIFICATIONS Previous retail or inventory control experience preferred; hardware experience is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using inventory systems such as Epicor Eagle, Mango, Compass or similar software systems preferred Strong organizational skills Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds. Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Dependable, motivated, and willing to take initiative. KEY SKILLS WE VALUE Accountability: Take ownership of inventory accuracy.
