Summary
The Inventory Specialist reports directly to the Inventory Manager and Inventory Lead. Inventory Specialists are responsible for supporting inventory controls on a day-to-day basis, as well as the weekly and monthly inventory counts and waste disposal requirements, and comprehensive annual inventory in conjunction with the executive management team. They are also responsible for order fulfillment and assisting where needed in daily operations.
Essential Functions:
1. Procedures, and Daily Operations
- Audit and maintain inventory controls to track and account for all facilities’ inventory.
- Audit and maintain procedures and notification policies for proper disposal.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager for receipt of daily order fulfillment and execute product labeling.
- Maintain records, including operating procedures, inventory records, audit records, storage records, delivery records, and transfer records.
- Maintain documents with each day’s beginning balance, acquisitions, sales, disposal, and ending inventory.
- Proper storage, labeling, tracking, and reporting of inventory.
2. Fulfillment
- Complete and fill all orders placed within menu ordering platform and stage filled orders alphabetically.
- Answer phone calls from customers regarding product information, order placement/changes/cancellations etc.
- Ensure fulfillment areas remain organized and free of clutter.
Experience Requirements:
1. 1-2 years of Inventory Experience
2. Working knowledge of inventory management software.
3. Preferred experience in the cannabis industry
Education and Professional Requirements:
1. Highschool or Equivalent
2. Must be 21 or older
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check annually
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
