Inventory Specialist 2nd shift

2nd Shift Inventory Specialist-5CC Glovis Georgia, is an integrated logistics company located in West Point, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Kia Motors Manufacturing. We currently have and opening for an Inventory Specialist to work on our 2nd Shift Monday-Friday (2:30pm-11:00pm) Responsibilities Include: -Monitor and report inventory results for daily cycle counts. -Adjust discrepancies in inventory system accordingly. -Audits/Confirms Counts for Large Variance Items. -Audits cycle counts periodically. -Analyze and research data for missing cases/material. -Assists with checks and balances of material for all departments. -Assigns periodic daily audits for correct items and counts. -Assigns inventory counts for obsolete material. -Assists with inventory process improvement projects. -SAP Data Analysis for inventory discrepancy. Minimum Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years inventory experience required 1+ years of forklift experience required -Need strong MS Office skill set (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). -Automotive or manufacturing work experience is a plus. -SAP or other inventory system end-use experience is a plus. -Intermediate to advance knowledge of Excel (Ex. Pivot, Vlookup, Nested if) -Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team enviornment. -Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and written.
