Inventory, Shipping & Receiving Associate
Pressure Profile Systems, Inc.PPS PPS makes tactile sensing systems for robotics, wearables, and research clients. We are looking for a reliable, organized person to help keep our stockroom, inventory, receiving, kitting, and shipping operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position. The right person will be comfortable working independently, following instructions, counting parts carefully, and keeping our inventory system up to date. What You'll DoReceiving Receive incoming parts and supplies. Check shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Count parts and make sure the correct items were received. Enter received items into the PPS inventory system. Put parts away in their assigned locations. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items. Inventory Keep shelves, bins, and cabinets organized. Make sure parts are stored in the correct location. Keep inventory quantities accurate in the system. Perform regular inventory counts. Report and investigate inventory differences. Print and replace bin or shelf labels when needed. Shipping & Kitting Pick parts needed for customer orders and production kits. Build kits using provided pick lists or Bills of Materials (BOMs). Pack customer orders safely and correctly. Prepare shipping labels and paperwork. Enter tracking information into the inventory system. Stage packages for pickup. Work with UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers, or local couriers as needed. Returns & General Stockroom Work Receive returned products and record their condition. Put returned items in the correct location or staging area. Keep the packing and stockroom areas clean and organized. Help maintain a safe, easy-to-navigate stockroom. Let the team know when parts are missing, shipments are delayed, or something doesn't match the paperwork. What We're Looking ForRequired Reliable and on-time attendance. Able to work on-site during scheduled hours. Comfortable using a computer and web-based inventory system. Able to carefully read part numbers and count parts. Able to follow written instructions and pick lists. Organized and able to keep things in their proper place. Able to work independently after training. Good communication when something is missing, damaged, or incorrect. Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Legally authorized to work in the United States. You do not need to be an expert in electronics or inventory systems. We will train the right person on our products and processes. Preferred Experience in any of the following is a plus: Shipping or receiving Warehouse or stockroom work Inventory counting Packing and preparing shipments UPS, FedEx, USPS, or freight shipping Kitting or production picking Working with parts, components, or electronics How to Apply Send us a short note and your work history.
