Ebels Hardware is looking for a Full-Time Inventory, Scanning & Receiving Coordinator to maintain accurate product information, inventory records, pricing, and merchandise flow throughout the store. This position is responsible for receiving incoming merchandise, processing products through the point-of-sale and inventory systems, maintaining accurate costs and retail prices, printing labels, and ensuring merchandise is properly documented and directed to the appropriate department or storage location. The Inventory, Scanning & Receiving Coordinator works with a wide variety of merchandise, including hardware, tools, lawn and garden products, agricultural supplies, outdoor power equipment, repair parts, tractors, implements, and attachments. The position also assists with inventory counts, product transfers, vendor returns, outgoing shipments, equipment and serial-number tracking, and resolving inventory discrepancies. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using computers, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be able to balance administrative and scanning responsibilities with the physical demands of receiving, handling, and organizing merchandise. Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming merchandise, equipment, parts, and store supplies. Compare shipments with purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and other receiving documents; identify and report shortages, damages, overages, and incorrect merchandise. Enter and maintain accurate UPCs, SKUs, descriptions, product locations, costs, retail prices, and other product information in the POS and inventory systems. Print and maintain shelf labels, price tags, barcode labels, bin labels, and product signage. Verify pricing, promotional pricing, and product information throughout the store and correct discrepancies as needed. Maintain accurate inventory quantities and product locations; assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, transfers, and inventory adjustments. Track serial numbers, model numbers, and related information for tractors, outdoor power equipment, implements, attachments, and other serialized products. Label and direct merchandise to the appropriate sales, warehouse, parts, service, display, or storage areas. Prepare and process vendor returns, damaged-goods claims, outgoing shipments, customer orders, and related documentation. Maintain an organized, clean, and secure receiving and storage area. Communicate receiving, inventory, pricing, shipment, and product discrepancies to management and appropriate departments. Work with vendors, freight carriers, sales, parts, service, accounting, and other store personnel to resolve issues and maintain accurate records. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized. Follow all company safety policies and procedures when receiving, storing, moving, and shipping merchandise. Assist other departments during high-volume periods and perform other duties related to inventory control, receiving, and store operations. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong computer skills and ability to learn POS, inventory, ordering, and vendor systems.
