Inventory/Receiving Clerk
DWYER INSTRUMENTS, INC.Description: Inventory/Receiving Clerk Hourly Full-time Summary: The Inventory/Receiving Clerk will primarily be responsible for maintaining inventory by performing daily cycle counts and manual counts as requested, review variances, investigate and report findings to the Inventory Lead for adjustment approvals, assist employees with locating inventory issues, assist with updating Min/Max levels at the Picking Locations. This position will also assist with sorting, counting and receiving inventory from our plants by creating the receipt in the WMS, print load labels to use when putaway the product to the shelf using FIFO method and replenish the locations as needed. The career path for this position is Inventory Lead. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform Daily Cycle Counts via scanner Review variances in the WMS and further investigate Provide findings to the Inventory Lead for approval on adjustments Ensure inventory is in sync between the MRM and the WMS Assist with updating MIN/MAX levels at the Picking Locations Assist with locating missing inventory Assist with breaking down IP shipments Create receipts in the WMS Print load labels and keep with the product Help putaway product Assist with Replenishment activities Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s): Accuracy Productivity Efficiency On Time Safety Initiative Personal development Problem Solving Requirements: Required Skills / Experience / Competencies: High School diploma or GED Warehouse experience required Previous experience maintaining inventory Operate a forklift-training is provided Physical/Mental Essential Functions: Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted Climb ladders and stairs Use a scanner Use of WMS software Ability to perform simple math calculations Ability to count and sort Strong organizational skills Ability to identify, communicate, prevent and solve practical problems Work Conditions: Work is fast paced in a clean and unairconditioned work environment without the requirements of PPE. On occasion, overtime and Saturdays are required.
