Inventory Receiver & Distributor

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Receiver & Distributor to join our dynamic logistics team. This is an entry-level role in which training and forklift certifications are provided. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving incoming shipments of millwork materials, accurately recording inventory data, and ensuring seamless distribution within our warehouse operations. Your energetic approach will help maintain optimal stock levels, support order fulfillment, and uphold trade compliance standards. Duties Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Maintain organized stock areas through effective stocking, inventory management, and cycle counting practices to prevent stock discrepancies. Utilize warehouse management systems to input data entries related to inventory transactions, shipment tracking, and trade compliance documentation. Distribute material to CNC operators and other departments within the warehouse per requests. Skills Proficiency in warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including stocking, picking & packing, and load & unload procedures. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certifications are provided), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely. Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
