Inventory Procurement Manager

Job Summary The Inventory Procurement Manager leads purchasing and sourcing activities to keep materials available, inventory aligned with demand, and supplier performance on track. You’ll connect procurement strategy with manufacturing, production planning, logistics, and quality management, using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Public sector purchasing experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) are valuable. Duties Lead procurement management, strategic sourcing, category management, and purchasing for assigned materials and services. Manage supplier relationships, vendor contracts, procurement contracts, and contract management from negotiation through ongoing performance review. Use material requirements planning (MRP) and e-procurement systems to support inventory, materials management, production planning, and supply chain needs. Partner across functions on project management, pricing, quality, and supply chain management; apply root cause analysis to resolve procurement and delivery issues. Your impact: Effective sourcing and supplier coordination help internal teams maintain material availability and support reliable production. Requirements Experience in procurement, purchasing, supplier management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations. Knowledge of contract negotiation, direct negotiation, procurement contract negotiation, and vendor contract management. Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally SAP or Oracle EBS, and MRP; experience with e-procurement systems is an asset. Understanding of procurement regulations and contracts; public sector purchasing and FAR knowledge are preferred. Strong negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical skills, including root cause analysis.
