Lead safe yard organization and material flow across approximately 150 acres, supporting a large volume of pipe inventory. Improve inventory controls, yard layout, location labeling, visual management, storage standards, and product traceability. Identify root causes for inventory variances, missing material, incorrect locations, product damage, and delayed transactions; implement lasting corrective actions. Build scalable processes, standard work, controls, and training to support inventory growth and improve the system. Partner with Operations, Shipping, Logistics, Quality, Commercial, Planning, and Information Technology to support customer and business needs. Monitor key measures such as inventory accuracy, cycle-count performance, aging inventory, material dwell time, damage, and transaction timeliness. Lead physical inventories, audits, reconciliations, and other inventory-control activities with minimal disruption to operations. Provide clear leadership, priorities, and accountability for employees supporting inventory control, material handling, and shipment readiness. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, customer, and financial-control requirements. Provide off-shift, weekend, or holiday support as business needs require in a 24/7 operation. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of inventory management experience. Ability to work on-site at the Houston location. Demonstrated expertise managing both the physical and system sides of large-scale pipe inventory. Experience improving inventory accuracy, traceability, yard organization, material flow, and transaction discipline. Proven success strengthening immature, growing, or underperforming inventory processes. Leadership experience with responsibility for employees, process execution, accountability, and cross-functional coordination. Working knowledge of physical inventory, cycle counting, location management, reconciliation, inventory systems, and root cause analysis. Strong communication, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced operating environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing casing, tubing, couplings, accessories, or other long-product inventory requiring strong identification and traceability controls. Experience with enterprise resource planning, warehouse-management, yard-management, or inventory systems. Experience redesigning yard layouts, location systems, visual controls, storage utilization, or loading practices.
