Inventory Personnel

Position Description – Inventory Personnel, QSC Company: Quality Steel Corporation Reports to: Department Manager Location: Fremont, OH Key Responsibilities : Ensure that work is performed in a safe manner. This includes wearing all required personal protective equipment and safely operating Powered Industrial Trucks Inspect equipment to be utilized prior to shift start. Receive/unload deliveries and count freight for correct quantities Safely operate forklift and/or telehandler to transport received materials to designated areas Log all material received and report any discrepancies to Supervisor Maintain inventory in designated areas, efficiently organized, for storage and retrieval. Collaborate with internal departments to support plant operation needs. Deliver materials to the Production Line on time, according to the Daily Run Schedule Maintain cleanliness of work areas and mobile equipment. Perform cycle counts Enter all adjustments into the MAS system (receipts, goods) Experience: Minimum of one year of General Labor/Warehouse experience (Loading, Shipping, Receiving), preferred. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Detail-orientated/attentive to detail to ensure safety and quality. Ability to operate a forklift, Teletruck, and Taylor Lift Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs. Computer skills (Excel), preferred Ability to record data accurately and in a timely manner. Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to withstand exposure to all elements of the weather while working. Ability to work collaboratively with team members to accomplish departmental goals. Education and Certification Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Forklift experience, preferred Quality Steel is an equal opportunity employer.
