Inventory Ordering & Control Specialist
Sign-Express*Job Overview* We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating purchase orders, overseeing and managing inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and accurate record-keeping. Work closely with Production Manager to plan inventory levels and special material needed for jobs. Assist in Quality Control checks, work with management for material and product planning. *Duties* - Utilize inventory management systems (CRM Dynamics Feild Service) to track and maintain inventory levels - Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy - Coordinate with the warehouse management system to optimize inventory flow - Manage shipping and receiving processes - Analyze data using tools such as Nielsen and financial modeling to make informed inventory decisions - Perform heavy lifting as needed to move and organize inventory - Monitor e-commerce inventory levels and make adjustments accordingly - Collaborate with the distribution center to streamline inventory processes - Price inventory items accurately based on market trends *Requirements* - Proven experience in inventory control or related field - Proficiency in utilizing inventory systems and software - Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on findings - Familiarity with warehouse management systems - Capability to lift heavy objects when necessary Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Flexible spending account Health savings account Paid time off Experience: Inventory control: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77073 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Houston, TX 77073: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
