Our team is responsible for packaging, handling, storage, transportation, receiving, and inventory management supporting the Apache Fire Control (AFC) Depot Support Facility. What You Will Be Doing As the Inventory & Materials Assistant Sr Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring seamless material flow and accurate inventory control at the Orlando depot. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To Manage packaging, handling, and storage of all materials. Coordinate transportation and receiving of supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular reports. Inspect incoming articles, reject defective items, and document findings. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock count issues. Auto req ID 484307BR Minimum Education Required High School/GED Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Basic Qualifications Experience using a forklift and/or pallet stacker Prior warehousing experience Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) Able to work effectively in a team environment Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance within 30 days of employment, and be able to obtain a Secret Clearance within the first 90 days of employment Valid U.S. driver’s license Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical Ability to pass a transportation examination Ability to operate a box truck with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 lbs.
