Inventory Manager

Inventory Manager Mid-Minnesota Lumber, in Appleton, MN, is looking for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with people, and keeping things running smoothly. As our Inventory Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing an inventory of more than 3,000 items, placing and tracking orders, working with vendors, and making sure we have the products our customers need. You’ll also work directly with customers, assist with sales, create bids and quotes for customers, and handle accounts payable. Experience with inventory management and purchasing is required. Knowledge of the Paladin Point of Sale system would be helpful, but it’s definitely not required — we can teach you the system. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both customers and coworkers. You should be able to stay on top of multiple tasks, communicate well with customers, and feel comfortable putting together accurate bids and quotes based on their needs. This is an in-house position, so you’ll be working with our team on-site rather than remotely. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends and no holidays.
