Role Summary: As an Inventory Lead for Rocky Mountain Cannabis, you are responsible for working effectively with Management to ensure the business runs efficiently and remains profitable to the organization. The Inventory Lead is responsible for safeguarding RMC products by controlling inventory accuracy, monitoring stock levels, and reporting all aspects of store inventory. It is imperative that the Inventory Lead be capable of completing the essential duties for their position. The Inventory Lead position requires a high level of multi-tasking, customer service, and attention to detail. The inventory lead is also expected to Budtend whenever necessary. Responsibilities: Accountable and responsible for verifying, receiving, and quality checking incoming product deliveries and completing related duties in the POS system, Metrc, and other internal platforms in accordance to RMC Centralized Inventory Procedure Document vendor invoices and post to Slack for Centralized Inventory Team and Finance Team Physically audit all inventory categories to maintain accuracy, including daily and weekly reconciliations Submit all audit sheets/discrepancies with daily counts to Regional Inventory Manager to reconcile per RMC Inventory Audit SOP Create product displays for sales floor, including flower, joints and concentrates following RMC template Create any additional sales floor product displays as assigned Ensure inventory backstock is adequately supplied and labeled and maintain exceptional inventory room organization including proper Metrc tag management practices Work with Procurement and Centralized Inventory Manager to appropriately manage and identify expiring or past use by product in a timely manner, following RMC Expiring Product SOP Create bulk flower jars for sales floor, including creating display jar labels following RMC template Ensure staff is following FIFO for proper and accurate inventory management Convert bulk products to packaged products as needed and instructed by Regional Inventory Manager Oversee Metrc functions such as creating new tags, creating manifests/transfers, and package management as assigned Support communication/training new inventory procedures, store promos, and other pertinent product information to the store team- in collaboration with Store Manager/Lead Assist Budtenders on the sales floor as business needs dictate Maintain knowledge of all products, strains, and deals Work with the team to maintain a compliant and accurate inventory, abiding by all MED rules and regulations Abide by all RMC processes, core values, policies, and procedures Maintain current knowledge of all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to the legal sale of cannabis products Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of MED laws Demonstrate high quality customer service and care Other duties as assigned Experience: Experience in the marijuana industry is preferred. Willing to work varied hours and days as business dictates. 1+ year experience in retail or 1+ year of experience in an inventory management role within a retail or customer service environment preferred MED badge required. 21 years of age or over. Customer Service experience is a plus. Must be computer friendly with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
