Responsibilities Lead warehouse distribution operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient stocking, and timely order fulfillment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms like AS400 and SAP to monitor inventory levels, analyze data, and generate actionable insights. Conduct root cause analysis to identify inventory discrepancies, process bottlenecks, or supply chain issues; implement effective solutions for continuous improvement. Manage procurement activities including sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing, and overseeing purchasing processes to optimize costs and supplier relationships. Oversee logistics functions such as shipping & receiving, materials handling, and transportation coordination to ensure smooth flow of goods. Develop data visualizations using Power BI or similar tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), demand planning accuracy, and inventory turnover rates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—merchandising, production planning, finance—to align inventory strategies with business goals and demand forecasts. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management software, or supply chain analytics with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, procurement, category management, and logistics inventory management. Technical proficiency with ERP systems such as AS400 or SAP; advanced Excel data analysis skills including spreadsheets and data visualization tools like Power BI. Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data mining, root cause analysis, financial modeling, and process improvement methodologies. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), materials handling equipment such as forklifts, and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal teams effectively. Ability to perform demand planning using tools like Nielsen or other market data sources; familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus.
