Our inventory team plays an important role in keeping our products, materials, and supplies organized and accurate. We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Counter to help us keep our physical inventory counts accurate. Position Summary The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for performing physical inventory counts throughout the warehouse during the workday. This position is highly focused and repetitive by design. Your primary responsibility will be counting inventory accurately and consistently . You will physically count assigned products, record the quantities counted, identify discrepancies, and provide your count information to the Inventory Admin for entry and reconciliation in our inventory system. If you enjoy organized, independent work and have a great eye for detail, this could be a great fit! Key Responsibilities Perform daily physical cycle counts of inventory throughout the warehouse. Count products, raw materials, packaging, and other inventory according to assigned count lists. Accurately record physical quantities counted. Double-check counts when necessary to ensure accuracy. Identify and report inventory discrepancies. Provide completed count information to the Inventory Admin for system entry. Help identify misplaced, mislabeled, damaged, or incorrectly stored inventory. Verify that products are located in their designated storage areas. Maintain organized count sheets and documentation. Follow established counting procedures consistently. Work methodically through assigned inventory areas and SKUs. Communicate significant discrepancies or recurring issues to the appropriate manager. Assist with physical inventory counts and other inventory-related projects as needed. What We're Looking For Extremely detail-oriented and accurate. Comfortable performing repetitive counting tasks throughout the workday. Reliable and dependable. Able to stay focused while performing repetitive work. Strong basic math and counting skills. Able to follow detailed instructions and established procedures. Organized and able to keep accurate records. Comfortable working independently. Previous inventory, warehouse, stocking, retail, or counting experience is a plus but not required. Basic computer skills are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to repeatedly bend, reach, kneel, and move throughout the warehouse. Ability to lift and move inventory and boxes up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to work in a warehouse environment throughout the shift.
