The Inventory & Cost Analyst will support the Operations Finance organization with a strong focus on inventory accounting, cost analysis, standard costing, reporting, and planning activities. You will own and execute key finance processes related to inventory and manufacturing costs, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide analytical support for budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making. You will work closely with business partners across Finance, Operations, and Product Management to improve transparency, maintain strong financial controls, and support the business with relevant insights on inventory and cost. This is a unique opportunity to join a new location during a period of growth and take an active role in establishing processes, supporting operations, and influencing how the business evolves. Responsibilities Perform and coordinate monthly inventory accounting activities, including account reconciliations, subledger closing and related entries Prepare and review inventory-related accruals and adjustments, covering areas such as inbound freight, goods in transit, inventory revaluations, obsolescence reserves Own and maintain standard cost related processes, including ongoing standard cost updates, roll-ups, and updates in the ERP system Support and coordinate physical inventory count processes and related financial follow-up Review inventory balances and prepare regular reporting, including units on hand reporting and other inventory-related analyses Support cost of quality tracking, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities Perform WIP job closing and variance analysis and support non-standard cost adjustments as required Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with accounting policies, internal guidelines, and reporting requirements Partner with stakeholders across Finance and Operations to identify improvement opportunities and support business decisions with clear financial analysis Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in finance, controlling, cost accounting, or inventory accounting Strong understanding of accounting concepts, inventory processes, and manufacturing finance Experience with standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Good ERP system knowledge; Oracle or other ERP experience is an advantage Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets; BI skills are a plus Structured, analytical, and hands-on working style with strong attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders Visa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the foreseeable future.
