This position is responsible for managing, tracking, and reconciling inventory levels by investigating inconsistencies and audits to ensure inventory counts match the company records. He or she will keep detailed records for any changes in inventory or production and report these changes to the proper department. They will also support the inventory Kitter and forecasting processes. Inventory Tracking and Audits Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts and inventory systems Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items and identity root cause Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits Inventory Maintenance Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and materials Utilize the FIFO method for a storing inventory Ensure inventory is properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible and return off cuts to inventory and ensure correct labeling MISC. Loading and unloading stock deliveries Coordinate with production, purchasing, and management teams to support workflow efficiency Safety Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory area Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards Promote good housekeeping Report any incident/accident to your direct supervisor immediately Future Processes Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures Determine best practice to eliminate off-cuts Be able to lift up to 70lbs Responsibilities may evolve as we continue to refine this position. Additional duties may be added or adjusted over time Required Skills and Qualifications Strong collaborative communication skills Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills Self-starter, ability to problem-solve on the fly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook and Excel) Able to lift up to 70 lbs Forklift certified Salary: $40,000-$42,000/year Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm
