You will help the team know what arrived, where it went, and what needs attention before the next order is picked up or the next delivery comes in. Check it, count it, move it forward 1. Compare deliveries with the approved receiving paperwork and record the quantity. 2. Keep item locations and labels easy for the next person to follow. 3. Complete scheduled counts and note differences without changing a total you cannot explain. 4. Share a short list of low-stock items or delayed deliveries with the lead. 5. Follow site safety rules and keep the shared work area orderly. Some days are about a planned count. Others change because an order arrives early or a requested item is not where the record says it should be. You will work with receiving, purchasing, and office teammates to find the source of the difference. You will learn why a small mistake in a unit, location, or description can slow down the next person. Start with one section and grow from there We will train you on the inventory system, handling procedures, and the approvals required for exceptions. You can begin with a defined product group and, as you gain confidence, own its count cycle or recurring stock update. Any equipment use requires the proper training and authorization. Experience from a warehouse, shop, campus store, restaurant stockroom, or other hands-on setting can be useful. You should be comfortable checking numbers, moving between a computer and the work area, and asking a question when something does not match.
