Inventory Coordinator

Inventory/Tool Coordinator Location: Portland, OR Contract: 6 Months Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Shift Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work various shifts and/or alternate schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to support business requirements. Job Overview Seeking an Inventory/Tool Coordinator to support Commercial Airplanes in Portland, OR. This position will facilitate the acquisition and management of non-production materials, portable tools, perishable tools, and shop supplies supporting fabrication and manufacturing operations. The Tool Coordinator will utilize procurement and inventory management systems to support manufacturing requirements, monitor inventory and delivery status, and identify appropriate solutions to meet operational needs. Responsibilities Support manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tools, and shop supplies. Facilitate the acquisition of authorized materials and commodities. Utilize inventory management systems and processes to support manufacturing operations. Review inventory usage and coordinate redistribution of materials. Monitor delivery and receiving status to meet manufacturing requirements. Analyze products and materials to ensure compliance with process requirements. Identify and recommend solutions to meet manufacturing and process needs. Research and support evaluation of new technologies. Investigate changes in manufacturing requirements and support urgent requests. Support evaluation of supplier performance and compliance with procedures and contract specifications. Perform inventory-related activities and work under general supervision. Basic Qualifications 1+ year of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control. 1+ year of experience with Inventory Control Systems. 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds regularly. Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend, lift items, package materials, and unload materials throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience with Ariba and/or CribMaster. Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines. 1+ year of data analytics experience, including Excel formulas and functions.
