This is a full-time, 12-15 month contract position earning $50,000/yr. 

Job Description

Our Inventory Coordinator will be accountable for ensuring accurate, reliable, and readily available inventory information that supports production planning, order fulfilment, sales activities, and leadership decision-making.

  • Ensures accurate, organized, and reliable plant inventory information across all facilities to support operational efficiency and customer commitments.
  • Maintains inventory integrity by reviewing, updating, and auditing inventory records, product locations, allocations, and availability.
  • Identifies and resolves inventory discrepancies by collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment of inventory data and availability.
  • Supports production and seasonal planning by coordinating inventory requirements and working closely with Propagation, Potting, and Coordinator teams.
  • Enables informed decision-making by providing managers and leadership with timely reports and analysis on inventory, availability, plant condition, pricing, and production updates.
  • Supports order fulfilment and sales activities by providing accurate inventory information and responding to inventory-related inquiries.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

We recognize that strong candidates may come from a variety of backgrounds. Formal certifications are an asset, but not required. Experience in the following environments is especially valuable:

  • 2 years’ experience in inventory administration an asset.
  • Valid driver's license for travel to local fields is required.

Additional Information

This position is based in our West Kelowna location, working with a diverse ESL workforce. This blended role requires organization & desk-related activities, while some aspects require hands-on, physical activities outdoors and in our greenhouses. We are seasonal with fast-paced periods with higher demands in Spring/Summer. Working independently and solving problems as they arise is important since priorities can shift quickly.
