About the Role:

Our Shipping team is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Inventory Coordinator. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and technological skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory cycle counting including monthly, quarterly, annual physical counts, and participate in inventory audits and counts.
  • Own the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies, identify and track root causes and complete NCRs.
  • Continuously improve inventory management processes and accuracy metrics to achieve departmental KPI objectives.
  • Accurately identify, locate, label, and ship orders while maintaining compliance with internal product control and documentation procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Receive inventory and accurately enter data into the ERP system.
  • Store received inventory in designated locations, ensuring it is clean, clearly tagged, and properly packaged or wrapped.
  • Pick and stage orders and safely load and unload trailers.
  • Create logistics dashboards, and graphical reports to visualize operational data, track KPI performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide cross-functional support and act as a backup for the Transportation Coordinator and Shipper/Receiver functions as required to ensure continuity of operations.

 

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations is considered an asset.
    • Valid forklift certification is required; experience operating stand-up high-reach forklifts is an asset.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
    • Collaborative team player who contributes to a positive, safety-focused, and customer-oriented workplace culture.
    • Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identifies opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to analyze and organize data effectively.
    • Excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills
