Inventory Controls Specialist - Part Time

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Controls Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis to manage and report our pallet inventory. The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately count, record, and report daily pallet inventory. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and can identify and investigate inventory discrepancies. The position will also assist with other administrative responsibilities, including supplies purchasing and payroll. Responsibilities Accurately count, record, and report daily pallet inventory. Research and identify the causes of inventory variances or discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records. Assist with purchasing supplies and maintaining appropriate supply levels. Assist with payroll processing and related administrative duties. Use QuickBooks accounting software for applicable accounting and administrative tasks. Communicate inventory issues or discrepancies to management. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Comfortable working with numbers and performing repetitive counting and recordkeeping tasks. Experience with QuickBooks accounting software. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and identify discrepancies or errors. Reliable and consistent attendance. Previous inventory, accounting, purchasing, or administrative experience is preferred. Work Schedule & Hours Tuesday through Saturday. Starting at 7:00 a.m. Approximately 4 hours per shift, depending on how long it takes to complete and report the inventory. Average of approximately 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be required when needed to research and resolve inventory variances. Compensation $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Benefits Two weeks of paid vacation. Health insurance is not provided. Retirement benefits are not provided.
