We are looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Chicago Heights manufacturing team and play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, manufacturing reporting integrity, and continuous improvement across our operations. What You'll Do: As the Inventory Controller, you will own the end-to-end integrity of manufacturing inventory transactions, material consumption reporting, batch yield analysis, and inventory reconciliation activities. Working closely with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Finance teams, you will ensure inventory records accurately reflect physical operations while identifying opportunities to improve process performance and control. Key responsibilities include: Managing inventory consumption and production reconciliations across raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. Analyzing batch yield performance, material usage, and manufacturing variances. Leading cycle count programs and supporting physical inventory processes. Investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions. Supporting month-end inventory close activities and inventory governance. Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, transactional discipline, and material utilization. What We're Looking For: To be successful in this role, you will bring: 5+ years of inventory control, materials management, production accounting, manufacturing finance, or related experience within a process manufacturing environment. Experience reconciling material consumption, production output, inventory movements, and manufacturing transactions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP. Knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and inventory valuation principles. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong commitment to safety. Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Experience within chemical, agrichemical, pharmaceutical, food, or other batch manufacturing environments. Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience. What We Offer: The base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year. Compensation is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Nufarm, we believe in total compensation.
