Inventory Control/Warehouse Associate
ConfidentialJackson Group Peterbilt is seeking a full-time Inventory Control/Warehouse employee. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts inventory while providing safe, accurate, and timely deliveries to customers. This position plays an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Monitor stock levels and perform regular cycle counts, bin checks, and rolling inventory. Reconcile physical inventory with the CDK database Label stock and handle internal inventory transfers. Maintain designated storage locations, pull orders accurately, and ensure safe aisle and shelf organization following company safety protocols Investigate and report inventory variances, shrinkage, or damaged goods, and adjust records accordingly Communicate inventory positions and stock availability clearly to the purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams Process manufacturer core returns and warranty claims via CDK, ensuring freight return timelines are met, and parts credits are accurately recaptured Follow strict warehouse safety protocols, leading minor audits to ensure total alignment with OSHA regulations Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or inventory control role (Class 8 truck parts experience is a major asset) Basic computer literacy, data entry, Microsoft Excel, and experience using RF barcode scanners Proficiency with CDK Global is highly preferred Ability to stand or walk for long shifts and lift 50–75 lbs regularly Forklift certification is a strong plus Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and clear communication.
