How would you contribute? This role is a contributing member of our Airlite Plastics Team, located in Omaha, NE. As an Inventory Control Supervisor you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for leading general labor teams in the storage and inventory of finished goods post production. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the company’s ERP system of record, leading teams responsible for the flow of finished goods, and ensuring finished goods are stored and tracked in the appropriate locations to ensure accurate and on time delivery of products. Essential Duties: For the assigned shift, ensure the receiving process of all incoming finished goods from production is followed and that the appropriate labels are assigned to all finished goods.. Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure quality and quantity accuracy. Identify and escalate inventory issues found during the receiving process. Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s ERP system of record. Participate in regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Ensure the proper inventory control procedures, including FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and other inventory management methods and being conducted with teams. Following assigned process ensure the flow of goods within the warehouse to ensure timely order fulfillment. Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order picking and shipping. Generate regular inventory reports, including inventory turnover, aging reports, and performance metrics. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Stay abreast of industry best practices and technologies related to inventory control and warehouse management. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. All other duties as assigned. Successful candidates for the role will possess the following: Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: 2 years’ of experience in an inventory control, warehousing or a related field in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Excel skills needed. Previous experience leading teams is required. Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite and ERP experience required.
