Inventory Control Specialist
ConfidentialPOSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible tor keeping track of fresh product and material goods in order to facilitate production. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Complete physical counts of all inventory – perishable and non-perishable – based on established schedule. 2. Check for negative and missing tags and report to management 3. Complete daily and weekly report for Accounting to reconcile inventory 4. Investigate discrepancies in counts and report reasons for the discrepancies to management. 5. Assist with Data Entry with entering information into Famous 6. Perform quality checks on stored inventory and make recommendations to discard inventory that does not meet the company standards. 7. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1. GED or High School diploma or any equivalent. 2. Good written and verbal communication skills. 3. Strong attention to detail and data entry skills. 4. Effective organization and prioritization 5. Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office and data tracking software. 6. Previous warehouse/inventory control experience preferred WORKING CONDITIONS Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects. Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned.
