Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist manages inventory accuracy and material flow across Cardinal's warehouse and vehicle stock, ensuring technicians have the parts and equipment they need when they need them. Benefits Medical Insurance: Health: 50% of the premium is covered by Cardinal Dental: 50% of the premium is covered by Cardinal Life insurance: $10,000 is covered by Cardinal 401K with a 4% Company Match Uniform allowance Paid Continuing Education Paid Holidays and PTO Duties & Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform cycle counts Restock and organize warehouse and truck stock Track equipment and tool assignments Coordinate with vendors on orders and returns Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Maintain inventory management software and records Support purchasing with reorder recommendations Ensure warehouse safety and organization standards are met Other duties as assigned Competencies For Success Practices extraordinary attention to detail Organizes work into processes Utilizes time effectively Dependable and accountable Effective problem solver Required Skills & Abilities Proficiency with inventory management or ERP software Strong organizational skills Accurate basic math and data entry Forklift operation, or willingness to become certified Ability to manage multiple priorities Education & Experience 1+ years of inventory or warehouse experience High school diploma or GED Physical Demands Must be physically able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to climb ladders and use a pallet jack or forklift Ability to work in variable warehouse temperatures Work Environment Warehouse based environment Work Schedule Generally Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
