Valley Pacific is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) to join our Bakersfield team. We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organized professional with a strong team-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking sales transactions, and overseeing intercompany transfers. This hands-on role involves working directly with tanks, hoses, meters, drums, pails, and various lube products. You will also ensure strict adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and track daily lube inventory based on sales transactions and intercompany transfers. Procure goods in alignment with company inventory models to maintain optimal stock levels. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies while maintaining accurate records. Qualifications & Skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Strong team player with excellent communication skills. Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis tools. Strong background in data analysis to optimize inventory performance. Excellent math and counting skills to ensure inventory accuracy. Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record. Forklift certification or experience, with knowledge of safety protocols. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the petroleum industry (handling lubricants and related products) is a plus. Compensation and Benefits: Pay: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience), with potential to earn up to $64,000 annually.
