Role Description The Inventory Control Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Huntington Beach, CA. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records for surgical instruments and implants, including tracking stock levels, monitoring product movement, and performing regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Day-to-day tasks include processing shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing storage areas, and ensuring proper labeling and documentation. The role also involves resolving inventory discrepancies, updating system data, supporting order fulfillment, and collaborating with operations and customer service teams to meet demand. The Inventory Control Specialist helps maintain clean, orderly inventory areas and adheres to quality and safety standards. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage stock levels. Experience with Inventory Accuracy and Physical Inventory processes, including cycle counts and reconciliation of variances. Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving activities, including inspection, documentation, and coordination with carriers. Comfort using inventory or ERP software, barcode scanners, and basic reporting tools. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory as required, and follow all safety and handling procedures. Prior experience in medical device, surgical instruments, or related manufacturing/distribution environments is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management is a plus.
