Inventory Control Specialist (Bilingual in English and Chinese)

THE OPPORTUNITY We are an established wholesaler of foodservice supplies looking for a Inventory Control Specialist to join our team and become a key contributor to our continued rapid growth. Responsibilities and Duties Perform activities related to scheduling inbound and/or outbound activities in the Warehouse. Maintains and update an organized list of SKUs and their characteristics via inventory management tools. Tracking and controlling the available inventory items, and notify purchaser on low/over stock status. Proactively research current inventory status, make forecasts, and create emergency backup plan. Work with Warehouse Manager to investigate and reconcile all identified inventory discrepancies. Ensure inventory accuracy within the processing areas. Communicate well with truck drivers and headquarters (shipping/routing) Answering phone. Computer Skills for generating and printing orders. Qualifications and Skills Bilingual in Mandarin and English Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in inventory control management or warehouse shipping/routing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite as well as other programs (Warehouse software) Generate orders from warehouse AMT software.
