Our core values: Improvement Minded, Make It Happen, Passionate, Accountable, Customer First and Team Player The Role As our Inventory Control Associate, you keep our warehouse inventory accurate and organized, one bin at a time. You will cycle count our pick locations and overstock, make sure every item scans, track down missing product, and keep the shelves clean and labeled, so our team can serve locksmiths and security professionals with speed and accuracy. What You Will Do Counting and accuracy Cycle count all pick locations and overstock monthly, including refurbished inventory and other areas assigned by leadership. Perform weekly counts on items whose quantity has dropped to zero or below. Check each item and its image during counts to confirm the correct item is listed. Assist in researching and locating missing products. Scanning and labeling Make sure items in pick locations scan correctly with our hand scanners. Add and update UPCs in our inventory system using the hand scanner application. Label items that have no UPC or a UPC that does not scan. Warehouse organization Straighten bins, clear trash from pick locations, and replace damaged bin boxes and location labels. Assist with consolidation and warehouse organization projects. Process refurbished inventory: sort items, enter them into our system, verify quantities, and add pick locations as needed. Properly bag, label, and add E-Keys to older stock of OEM remotes. Team support Help the Receiving team put product away once your inventory tasks are complete, and back up Receiving when the department is short-handed. Work with Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, and Returns to resolve inventory questions. Take on other duties assigned by leadership. What You Bring Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a problem-solving mindset. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, unit conversion) for counting and reconciling quantities accurately. Basic Microsoft Excel skills (data entry, sorting, and simple formulas). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment. Clear communication and a team-first approach when working with other departments. Ability to pass a background check. Preferred 1–5 years of experience in inventory counts, warehouse, or distribution work. Experience with hand scanners and an ERP or WMS system, or willingness to learn quickly. Forklift or pallet jack certification, or willingness to obtain it. What Sets You Apart We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy.
