This is a union position and will be part of Operating Engineers Local 324. The Inventory Control Specialist provides both administrative and physical management of all inventories coming into the facility and manages all outgoing project material. The position will have dual accountability. Inventory accuracy and management deliverables will serve the procurement/accounting teams. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Become proficient with the use of our inventory management process Perform receiving of all material into inventory and re-stock. Provide reports to purchasing of low inventory items to be re-ordered. Organize and pull from stock Maintain inventory levels. Manage all deliveries to building, front door and rear docks. Manage outgoing shipments with project equipment and materials. Position Requirements Minimum High School or equivalent degree. Associates degree or technical certifications preferred. Two to four years work experience demonstrating strong performance, reliability, and desire to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Sound planning, organizing, and execution skills. Computer savvy, comfortable in MS Word and Excel with the ability to learn other programs (Pick Pro). Technical aptitude for light assembly work. Ability to work independently with varying levels of supervision Fork truck certification preferred. Training and certification can be provided. Ability to lift loads and operate machines in the fabrication shop a plus. About Alta Culture is Job #1.
