Inventory Control Specialist
Komar Industries, LLCManufacturing Inventory Control Specialist - Groveport, OH Komar Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy, reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement across our operations. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working in an ERP environment, and able to partner across multiple departments to identify inventory issues and drive them through resolution. Key Responsibilities Lead with Integrity by maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring inventory transactions, cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed accurately and consistently. Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, organized, and controlled throughout the facility. Build What Lasts by developing and maintaining inventory reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that improve inventory visibility, accuracy, and long-term operational performance. Support inventory planning by identifying slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and providing analysis to support appropriate action. Own the Outcome by analyzing inventory data to identify shortages, excess inventory, variances, and trends; investigating discrepancies; performing root cause analysis; and driving corrective actions through resolution. Enter, validate, and audit inventory transactions within NetSuite , including receiving, transfers, work order issuances, adjustments, returns, RMAs, and asset movements. Empower Our People by partnering with Operations, Procurement, Production, Shipping, Warehousing, and Service teams to improve inventory processes, material flow, and the availability of materials needed to support production and customer requirements. Monitor Kanban levels and recommend adjustments based on demand, usage trends, and operational requirements. Advance with Purpose by identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, and increase process efficiency through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, process efficiency, material flow, and cost reduction. Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in inventory control, inventory analysis, supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, or a related environment. Experience working with ERP/WMS systems; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred . Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, variances, and root causes. Experience creating or working with inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs. Strong Excel and data-analysis skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Procurement, Warehousing, Shipping, and Service teams. Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
