Inventory Control Specialist

Job Overview As an Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll keep inventory accurate and moving through warehouse operations, distribution, and the broader supply chain. You’ll use inventory management systems and data analysis to identify discrepancies, support purchasing and demand planning, and help teams make informed decisions. This role works across warehouse management, logistics, procurement, invoicing and merchandising. Responsibilities Monitor inventory, stocking, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment; investigate variances using root cause analysis. Analyze data with spreadsheets, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to support data visualization, financial analysis, pricing, and supply chain analytics. Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on sourcing, purchasing, contracts, negotiation, and supplier management. Support process improvement, category management, materials management, production planning, and logistics inventory management. Your impact: Accurate inventory records help warehouse and supply chain teams plan reliably and fulfill orders efficiently. Email invoices as inventory is delivered Experience Warehouse experience in inventory control, warehouse distribution, warehouse management, or warehouse operations; familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems, MRP, or AS400 is valuable. Data analytics, data mining, data collection, financial modeling, and strong analysis skills; experience with Nielsen is a plus. Knowledge of supply chain management, retail management, 3PL (third-party logistics), and materials handling is helpful. Strong math, technical proficiency, and cross-functional communication; forklift experience and ability to perform heavy lifting may be required depending on site duties.
