You’ll handle receiving, inventory tracking, data entry, material organization, and communication with purchasing and production. Pay $20 - $26 Schedule Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Where On-site • Paul, ID Certifications What you get About this role Inventory & Materials Control Specialist About the Role We are looking for a detail‑driven, computer‑savvy Inventory & Materials Control Specialist who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and keeping a workspace running smoothly. This position reports to and supports the Procurement & Inventory Control Manager, working closely with them to ensure materials are received, recorded, and organized correctly. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable in both digital systems and a shop‑floor environment. If you’re the type of person who finishes your tasks and then naturally starts straightening shelves, wiping down surfaces, or organizing parts because it just feels right, you’ll fit in perfectly here. What You’ll Do Enter inventory transactions daily with precision and consistency Maintain accurate counts of materials, parts, and components Update MRP/inventory software and ensure data integrity across the system Support the Procurement & Inventory Control Manager with reporting and data cleanup Timely receive all incoming materials, verifying quantities, part numbers, and condition Promptly enter received materials into the system and stage them in the correct location Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to the Procurement & Inventory Control Manager Occasionally operate a forklift (training provided if needed) Lift and move materials up to 30 lbs Keep shelves, bins, and storage areas clean, labeled, and organized Monitor inventory levels and usage trends Recommend reorder points and quantities Help prevent stockouts and keep materials flowing smoothly Communicate material needs to the Procurement & Inventory Control Manager Communicate clearly through email and internal messaging Work closely with purchasing, production, and management Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits Who We’re Looking For Very comfortable using a computer, including MRP/ERP systems, spreadsheets, and email Detail‑oriented in both digital data and physical materials Organized by nature — you like things clean, labeled, and in the right place Familiar with metals or industrial parts (even basic exposure is helpful) Self‑starter who naturally looks for ways to improve the workspace when tasks are complete Comfortable with light physical work, forklift use, and lifting up to 30 lbs Experience Prior inventory, warehouse, or materials experience preferred Experience with SAP Business One, MRP systems, or Google Workspace is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Overtime opportunities Monday–Friday day shift (8–10 hour shifts) Relocation Applicants must be able to relocate to (or reliably commute to) Paul, ID 83347 before starting.
