Inventory Control Lead
Elanders AmericasPosition Summary Inventory Control Lead is responsible for the accuracy and movement of inventory throughout the facility. The Inventory Control Lead uses and is certified to operate lift equipment such as reach trucks, walkie-riders, stock pickers, scissor lifts, and forklifts. The Inventory Lead works in concert with various internal customers to ensure the timeliness of the inventory movements they perform. This position will also audit inventory locations for count and unit type accuracy as needed and verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Lead assigned personnel on shift to meet productivity and efficiency targets Conduct accuracy/quality audits by verifying product quantity/quality Perform and support all job requirements as directed by supervisor and/or manager Safe Operation and operator maintenance of the powered inventory handling equipment at Elanders. Accurately picks and posts inventory from warehouse locations. Accurately returns inventory and posts to the proper unit ID from recon. Supports the other operational departments in any capacity when needed. Must be able to operate a PC and understand how to navigate inside of the WMS. Performs cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and updates transactions in Inventory Management System. Complies with all safety and health policies, procedures, and practices; actively supports safety improvement initiatives; uses materials and equipment in an appropriate and safe manner; carries out all tasks in a manner so as to not create a hazard to oneself or others.
