Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Overview As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you’ll keep inventory accurate, available, and moving efficiently across warehouse and supply chain operations. You’ll analyze stock data, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to support reliable order fulfillment and informed decisions. Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels, stocking activity, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment using warehouse management systems and inventory management software. Reconcile records, collect and analyze data, and use spreadsheets, Excel, and reporting tools to identify trends and discrepancies. Apply root cause analysis to resolve inventory issues and recommend process improvements. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on procurement, purchasing, sourcing, pricing, contracts, and demand planning. Your impact: Accurate inventory records help warehouse teams locate materials quickly and help customers receive complete orders on time. Skills Essential: Inventory control or warehouse experience; inventory management; warehouse operations; logistics; supply chain; materials handling; and cross-functional communication. Essential: Strong math, analysis, data collection, and spreadsheet skills, including Excel data analysis; technical proficiency with inventory systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools. Preferred: Warehouse distribution, warehouse management, logistics inventory management, supply chain management, materials management, production planning, and manufacturing resource planning (MRP). Preferred: Data analytics, data mining, data visualization, financial analysis or modeling, analytics, Power BI, Tableau, AS400, Nielsen, category management, merchandising, retail management, supplier management, negotiation, and 3PL (third-party logistics) experience. Forklift operation, stocking, and heavy lifting may be part of warehouse duties.
