Inventory Control Coordinator Jerky.com | Oklahoma City, OK Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Location: On-site, Oklahoma City, OK About the Position Jerky.com is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to help keep our warehouse running accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and making sure inventory is exactly where it should be. You'll play an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy, improving warehouse organization, and ensuring products are properly received, stored, and available for fulfillment. We're looking for someone who doesn't just identify inventory problems but takes the initiative to help solve them. What You'll Do Inventory Accuracy: Perform regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile inventory records to maintain accurate stock levels. Receiving: Verify incoming shipments, identify shortages or damages, and ensure products are properly received and recorded. Product Rotation: Monitor product dates and maintain proper FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation to protect product quality. Warehouse Organization: Maintain accurate product locations, improve inventory slotting, and help maximize available warehouse space. Inventory Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to keep picking and fulfillment operations moving efficiently. Shrink and Damage Control: Track and document damaged, missing, or donated inventory and help identify ways to reduce inventory losses. Inventory Problem Solving: Research inventory discrepancies, correct errors, and recommend improvements to warehouse processes. Team Coordination: Work closely with warehouse leadership and other team members to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient operation. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: Previous experience in warehouse inventory control, receiving, or inventory management. Experience performing cycle counts and resolving inventory discrepancies. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and follow through on tasks. Comfortable using computers, inventory software, and spreadsheets. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to work in an active warehouse environment. Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), particularly SKU Vault. Knowledge of FIFO, product code dating, and inventory rotation. Experience with inventory slotting, warehouse mapping, and space optimization. Familiarity with overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) procedures.
