Inventory Control Coordinator - 1st/2nd Shift
Pegasus Industries and PackagingSummary of Position Pegasus Industries is a 3PL company that supplies the automotive industry with assembly, kitting and sequencing solutions. In this fast-paced, ever-changing environment, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for locating inventory discrepancies, inputting part shortages into the system and answering any questions from the customer regarding inventory. This involves obtaining required information, many times over email, to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations. Must possess a sense of urgency, and attention to the smallest of details. This position will work with directly with the customer and trouble-shoot any customer concerns and effectively communicate this information with on-shift managers in order to resolve all reported discrepancies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Functional - Input part shortages into customer’s portal. - Take part count requests by email. - Locate parts that are unable to be found. - Fix inventory discrepancies in WMS. - Assist Customer Service Coordinator when parts are ordered and not in the correct location - Keep detailed log of all shortages. - Communicate with customer to help resolve any inventory issues that may arise. - Conduct daily cycle counts Interpersonal - Collaboration and Teamwork: Building strong relationships and partnerships across the company to leverage ideas, capabilities, and processes. Unify internal constituents around a common vision and goals, and teaming with others for enhanced outcomes. - Works positively with team members in order to continuously improve the business Skills - Proper email etiquette - Superb communication skills - Attention to detail - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience Requirements: - Knowledge of database and data management activities - Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and follow up - Strong communication skills Physical Requirements: - Ability to work more than 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day as needed in order to support business needs. - Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
