Inventory Control Clerk - Compound - 2nd Shift

Job Summary: The Inventory Control Clerk- Compound is responsible for inventory and movement of compound through the company. This position is responsible receiving, storing, mixing and shipping raw materials (compound) to ensure that everything is in its proper place at all times. Duties/Responsibilities: Compound Movement Greet/unload inbound trucks and containers of compound Document, weigh, track and store compound in the appropriate area(s) Consolidate, left over bins of compound from completed jobs to make space in the warehouse Move compound in/out of manufacturing areas Compound Mixing Mix compound batches by using the appropriate recipe for appropriate color as requested by customer Weigh and store mixed compound appropriately Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing daily housekeeping measures Adhere to all safety rules and regulations Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Warehousing abilities– knowledge and use of pallet jacks, auto jacks, fork lifts, etc.) Clerical abilities– data entry, etc. Ability to follow instructions to carry out assignments Ability to handle a physically demanding workload with heavy lifting and moving Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Working knowledge of computers and programs for entering data Education and Experience: -Prior experience as a forklift driver in a company setting (Warehouse, Manufacturing Facility, etc.) -Experience with pallet jacks, auto jacks, and reach lift -Experience with warehouse inventory management procedures -Simple math skills required -Data entry skills required Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
