Inventory Control Clerk Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040 Pay Rate: $25.00/hr Duration: 4-Month contract to start Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30/4:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to manage maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) inventory in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, timely parts availability, and efficient storeroom operations to support maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, store, and issue maintenance parts and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory counts. Monitor stock levels and coordinate parts procurement. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintain an organized and safe storeroom. Coordinate with maintenance, warehouse, and purchasing teams. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, maintenance storeroom management, or industrial purchasing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills. Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance parts and inventory control. Preferred Qualifications Experience in food processing or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with SAP, Maximo, PMC 2000, ERP, or CMMS systems. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
