Examines shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy. 3. Requisitions and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. 4. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems 5. Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. 6. Packs, seals, labels, or affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter. 7. Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes. 8. Receives and signs for all incoming shipments: opens incoming packages to verify item quantity, reports any shortages or overage and receives per stocking unit of measure 9. Delivers or route materials to departments using hand-truck, conveyor, or sorting bins. 10. Contacts carrier representatives to plan or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. 11. Notifies lead or supervisor of issues in a timely manner. 12. Determines shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped. 13. Comply with requirements according to procedures in the quality system. 14. Follows 5S procedures. 15. Other job-related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ KSA High School Diploma/GED Experience using computers Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted Ability to use box sealing tape, scales, postage meters, shrink wrap packaging vacuum, box cutters, & hand trucks Ability to manage time effectively Knowledge of basic mathematics Ability to document and manage files Ability to compare similarities and differences quickly and accurately among sets of letters, numbers Ability to Actively Listen PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with barcode scanners & printers Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word Knowledge of algebra & geometry Skilled at critical thinking - sing logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong WORKING CONDITIONS Typical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit…
