Inventory Clerk Fairmont City, IL 62201 $19.95–$23.85 per hour Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. On-site | 40 hours per week | Paid training We are adding an Inventory Clerk to keep customer orders, stock information, and incoming deliveries accurate. This is a practical role combining computer-based recordkeeping with regular communication across the office and warehouse. Your day-to-day work Enter inventory, order, and delivery information into company systems. Process customer orders and internal stock requests. Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips. Prepare pick lists, labels, and basic shipping documents. Update stock quantities, product locations, and inventory records. Report missing, damaged, or incorrectly delivered items. Assist with scheduled stock counts and inventory checks. Share accurate updates with customer service, office, and warehouse colleagues. What will help you succeed Strong attention to numbers, product codes, and order details. Confidence using computers, spreadsheets, and digital records. A dependable approach to attendance and daily deadlines. Clear communication when information is missing or incorrect. The ability to stay focused while handling routine tasks. A willingness to learn inventory and order-processing systems. Previous experience involving data entry, stock control, order processing, shipping, receiving, or warehouse administration is useful but not essential.
