GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, the Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining all stock levels and orders within the Inventory Hub. Accepting deliveries and allocating stock efficiently and safely. Allocating supplies when technicians and cleaners arrive at the hub, ensuring expedient service. Organizing shelves and space to make the Inventory Hub clean and fluid for the frequent usage it sees.
- Receive deliveries against POs, verify quantities/condition, flag discrepancies immediately, and file claims with vendors.
- Create and Manage Work Orders for Pest Control related activities.
- Support the Operations team in Purchase and Work Orders
- Label, barcode, and put away stock within 24 hours of receipt.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the docks: no boxes staged longer than one business day.
- Pick, kit, and allocate supplies on arrival of technicians/cleaners
- Maintain standardized kits (e.g., cleaner kits, technician consumables) and replenish to par after each issue.
- Record every transaction in the system (no offâbook handouts)—usage always ties to a person, job, or GL.
- Own min/max levels, reorder points, and leadâtime buffers for all SKUs in the Inventory Hub.
- Labeled shelves, logical slotting, clear travel lanes, and zero floor clutter.
- Post and maintain SDS/WHMIS documentation; enforce PPE and safe handling
- Ensure racking inspections, weight limits, and spill controls are in place and documented.
- Keep item master data clean (using sortly): pack size, vendor codes, bin locations, and hazard flags.
- Publish a monthly dashboard in collaboration with the Procurement Supervisor: inventory accuracy, stockouts, receipts aged and top movers.
- Forecast demand in collaboration with the Procurement Supervisor from consumption trends and seasonality; propose order consolidations to reduce freight and touches.
- Process returns (defectives, empties, cores) and credits
- Manage recycling and proper disposal
- Lead layout/slotting changes to cut travel time; trial small automations (scan guns, pickâtoâlight, kanban).
- Write and maintain SOPs for receiving, issuing, counts, and chemical handling, train backups and new hires.
- Identify cost/waste and bring forward fixes—don’t wait to be asked

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum 2 years in an Administrator or Technician role in the residential rental sector or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability solve problems related to product allocation and usage
- Technical knowledge of building systems
- Knowledge and experience using Yardi Voyager / ERP System, Basic Microsoft Office Skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving
- Proficiency in written and oral English
- Experience with Apple hardware (MacBook, iMac, iPhone, iPad) is a definite asset
- As a condition of employment, a valid Criminal Background Check is a requirement.
