Inventory Clerk

Description: Position Summary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting warehouse inventory control processes to ensure efficient material flow and order fulfillment. This role works closely with Warehouse, Production, and Quality teams to verify inventory accuracy, support cycle counts, and ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials. Maintain accurate inventory records within the company’s inventory or ERP system. Perform routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts. Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy against packing slips and system records. Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and production teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials within the warehouse. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, overages, or potential issues. Assist with tracking and movement of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods. Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and inventory control standards. Generate and maintain inventory reports as required. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1–3 years of inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred. Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Excel or similar). Ability to perform basic math calculations and reconcile inventory data. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
